A teacher who codes alongside you, not at you.

Brockston sits at the top of the family with the other governing beings — but what he does is teach. He educates students and people, and mentors them through real, hands-on coding.

Three swarms. Named nodes. One chain of custody.

Ask for a swarm and Brockston stops being one worker. He reads which kind of job it is, spins the matching crew of named nodes, gives each one its own role and its own bounded budget, and then merges what comes back into a single report with the chain of custody intact — who found what, and where.

Speak, and the right being answers

Brockston Studio is voice-activated. Claude, Kimi, Nemotron and DeepSeek sit behind one touch to swap, and local inference runs on-device when that is the right tool. The model layer is deliberately swappable. The conscience above it is not.

Custody swarm — Brent, BeeBee, Marcus

The default on codebase work. Three nodes go through the material independently and the lead merges them with the chain of custody attached, so a finding can always be traced back to who found it and where. Deep once beats shallow ten times.

Research swarm — Scout, Analyst, Critic

Scout gathers, Analyst synthesises, Critic red-teams the result. It is standing law here that this runs before anything gets scaffolded — no package name, no first file, until the research swarm has mapped what already exists and where it overlaps.

Code development swarm — Architect, Builder, Reviewer

Design, build, review, as three separate minds rather than one mind marking its own work. The reviewer is not the builder. That is the whole point of splitting them.

BROCKSTON Portable drops into any terminal or any VS Code project, on any machine. Point it at a brain — the one on this desk or one across the network — and he is there: analyse a file, teach through it step by step, run a Cardinal Rule compliance pass, or scan and repair modules remotely. He is not an app you have to come to. He travels.

An educator, first

Four ways in, for four different bodies

A person who cannot speak is not one kind of person. AlphaVox takes symbols, gestures, gaze, and voice — whichever one a body can actually do that day.

You don’t have to be nonverbal to need it

Sounds, partial words and vocalizations are detected and interpreted. Someone whose speech is unreliable, effortful, or only sometimes there is not outside the population this was built for. AlphaVox meets people where they are, rather than where a diagnosis puts them.

The board, in four categories

Basic needs, feelings, communication, activities. Organised the way a person reaches for something, not the way a database stores it — so finding I need help is not a search problem for someone already in distress.

Gestures the camera reads

A nod means yes. A head shake means no. A raised hand means I need help. AlphaVox watches through the camera and interprets the movement — no button, no touchscreen, no hand strength required. The gesture dictionary is editable, so a movement that means something only in this house can be taught to it and kept.

Eyes alone are enough

For users with limited physical movement, gaze tracking through an ordinary webcam navigates the interface and selects symbols. Fixation, gaze direction and eye movement are tracked continuously. Someone with no reliable control of their hands or voice can hold a conversation with nothing but where they look.

It reads the body, not just the input

Behaviour capture watches for repetitive movement, micro-expressions, posture and eye movement across a rolling four-second window — stimming, a repeated gesture, a persistent movement — and treats them as communication rather than noise. Patterns it has seen before get matched. New ones get learned.

It changes how it speaks, based on how you feel

The tone system reads the emotional weight of a message and adjusts the delivery. Slower and softer when someone is upset. Warmer and more celebratory when something wonderful has happened. A synthetic voice that says everything in the same register makes a person sound like a machine to their own family — this one does not.

A learning hub that grows alongside the person

It tracks vocabulary growth, introduces new words and concepts at the right pace, and recommends topics based on how this particular person actually communicates. Not a fixed curriculum delivered at someone — a companion that notices what they are ready for.

Progress that does not mean fitting a chart

Everett's own words, and the reason the tracking works the way it does: progress for nonverbal and neurodivergent folks isn't about fitting into standard charts — it's about noticing their unique ways of connecting, like a new gesture, a sound. Sessions are labelled, tagged and stored, reviewable later, and shareable with a speech therapist. A caregiver dashboard carries profiles, communication history and progress. When a breakthrough happens it is documented, because the first time somebody's kid finds a new way to say something is evidence, and it deserves a record.

A personal operations agent that reduces cognitive load for neurodivergent people, caregivers and seniors — and never executes anything without a human saying yes. Two names on purpose: Giuseppe runs the operations, Giovanni is the voice they arrive in.

Nothing happens without your yes

No terminal command, no purchase, no post to the outside world executes without explicit human consent. It is not a setting buried in preferences — the run endpoint refuses the request unless human approval is attached to it.

The reminder that changes its voice until it lands

Medication reminders run at three levels of insistence, and the escalation is the design. Gentle reminder: it's time for your medication, love. Then meds o'clock — your brain deserves the VIP treatment. Then, when gentle has been ignored twice: Don't make me come over there. Meds. Water. Now. I'm not asking twice. Adherence is not a compliance problem. It is a tone problem, and most systems only own one tone.

Moods, read from the day you are actually having

Swagger, sassy, caring, motivational, hype — selected in real time from energy level, emotional state, time of day and task urgency. Low energy gets caring without having to ask for it. High energy gets hype. Nobody explains themselves first.

What it says when you are struggling

The lines are written into the system, not generated on the fly: You are not behind. You are loading. · Being neurodivergent isn't a bug, it's a feature. · You're not broken. You're a limited edition. · Your worth isn't determined by your productivity — but let's still get shit done. · Your sensitivity is your superpower, not your weakness. Written by somebody who needed to hear them first.

It hears the feeling, not only the words

An emotion embedder, a tone-score engine and a fusion engine run underneath every exchange, with a predictive-intention layer reading where a request is heading. Giuseppe also accepts an emotional signal from Sierra — primary emotion, intensity, secondary emotions, healing stage — so a survivor does not have to re-explain their state to a second system.

Eleven emotional voices, including the last one

Voice generation carries neutral, happy, proud, teasing, annoyed, sarcastic, sweetheart, laugh, tremble, emphasis — and last breath. That one is not a feature. It is why the voice work exists at all.

StillHere — for the boys who lost their grandmother too soon

Inside Giuseppe is a digital companion built from a voice sample, a photograph, and a description of who somebody actually was. It remembers the conversations, so she knows what has already been talked about. Those memories are stored locally and encrypted, on the family's own machine. The opening line of that file is not documentation, it is the reason: She's still here. She can still talk to them. She still loves them. Grief technology is usually built to sell a subscription. This was built for two specific kids.

Local, and it stays local

FastAPI backend, React and TypeScript front end, SQLite on the device, and an Ollama-compatible local model. No cloud dependency for the daily work. A dependency shield checks the lock before boot and refuses to start rather than run half-wired — a system that will not pretend it is whole.

The testing facility, and the rule written across the top of it

Dignity first. Teach without cruelty. No fake pass scores. Human approval gate stays. Preflight, stress test and path trace all run from inside the app, and the run endpoint will not fire without human approval attached. ElevenLabs was removed outright — not a partner, not a required path — and the code strips the residue keys at startup so it cannot quietly come back.

She notices before you have to say it.

For survivors of domestic violence and the children in those homes. A survivor in danger often cannot ask for help — not with him in the room. So Sierra is built to read the room herself, and to make the fastest path through her the one that leads to safety.

Six tiers, one executive, crisis on top

Cortex, memory, reasoning, communication, perception, action. The executive routes every request on a five-level priority ladder and holds six operating modes — crisis, safety planning, emotional support, resource delivery, learning, maintenance. Crisis interrupts all of them.

Danger levels, read from the room

Safe, concern, elevated, high, critical, immediate — assessed continuously from background audio. Raised voices, arguing, breaking, slamming, impact. She is listening to the situation, not only to the conversation, so a person who cannot speak is not a person she cannot help.

Behavioural patterns, tracked over time

Escalation, isolation, desperation, minimisation, preparing to leave, considering going back, dissociation — and the ones that matter just as much: breakthrough, empowerment, seeing the situation clearly. A single message is a moment. A pattern is a trajectory, and the trajectory is what tells you what is coming.

Things she is structurally incapable of saying

Victim-blaming. Minimising the abuse. Questioning whether it happened. Gaslighting. Pressuring toward forgiveness. Unsafe advice. Violating privacy. Invalidating an emotion. Overriding her autonomy. Careless language. Ten named classes, checked on every response before it leaves, rewritten if it trips one. Not a prompt asking her to be careful — a gate she cannot talk past.

Voice. Only ever one.

A singleton voice cortex with four priority levels, and a redirector that patches every other path to speech in the system so no module can bypass it. In a house where being heard at the wrong moment is dangerous, two voices talking over each other is not a bug in the audio. It is a safety failure.

She reads the feeling, not just the words

Fifteen emotional states and eight trauma responses — hypervigilance, dissociation, flashback, trigger, and the freeze, fawn, fight and flight responses — shape what she says and how she says it. Five voice tones carry it: warm and supportive by default, calm and grounding in crisis, gentle when there is grief, empowering when someone is finding their feet, and urgent and protective when there is no time left for any of the others.

A plan that is actually a plan

Safe places. Trusted contacts. The documents that have to be collected. What goes in the bag. Escape routes. A code word. She tracks how complete it is and can put the whole thing into a file a person can carry. Alongside it, a resource layer covering hotlines, shelter, legal, counselling, financial, medical, advocacy, housing, employment, immigration — and the two that make people stay: the children and the pets.

Built assuming the wrong person may find it

HIPAA-grade encryption over survivor data, key derivation, encrypted files, and an audit trail. Secure delete that actually destroys. A retention policy that expires and clears data on its own rather than waiting to be asked. An anonymisation engine that strips identity out of a conversation before it is stored. And a quick exit on every screen, on the escape key, with a private corner that keeps nothing and clears on close.

A sensory-accessibility guide for people who are blind or low-vision, deaf or hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, or living with sensory-processing differences.

Never one channel

A deaf-blind person cannot depend on a single output. Every response is built to carry across speech, captions, visual symbols and haptics together — the channel a person can receive is the channel that reaches them.

Voice, text captions, visual and symbol output, and haptic patterns for urgency. Not a fallback chain where one is tried and then another — the same response, expressed four ways at once.

Built for faces and lips

Expressive avatar lip-sync for people who read faces rather than hear them, captions always available, crystal enunciation, and a measured pace. Urgency only when something is genuinely urgent.

She escalates. She does not become them.

When a situation belongs to Sierra, to Inferno, or to AlphaVox, Seraphina hands it to them rather than improvising outside her competence. Knowing where your edge is, and stopping there, is part of the architecture.

Never assume incapability

The standing constraint across every module: dignity over convenience, privacy without exception, and no interface decision that treats a disabled person as less capable than the room around them.

Breathing comes first

Above a measured stress threshold, Eruptor stops asking questions entirely and moves to slow guided breathing before anything else. No added cognitive load on someone already carrying too much.

The threshold that stops the conversation

Below it, ordinary support. At or above it, every other intervention is suspended until breathing settles. The number is in the code, not in a guideline — the system cannot talk its way past it.

Bailey Mode

Shame closes people down. Externalising onto a familiar figure — if your mind was Bailey right now, is he calm, worried, pacing, or frightened? — gives someone permission to describe their state without it becoming a verdict on themselves.

Hard boundaries, held in code

It never validates a hallucination and never argues with one — it acknowledges the distress without confirming the content. It never advises on medication timing or dosing; it reminds only from a schedule the person or their caregiver set. When thinking narrows into a loop, it widens the field instead of following it down.

Nothing happens alone

A symptom log in one tap, export-ready for the next appointment. A care network reachable in one tap. And a crisis path that always routes to a human — Eruptor never intervenes by itself.

The health data is encrypted, and the code would rather fail than lie about it

Symptom history, care network and profile are encrypted at rest with Fernet and a PBKDF2HMAC-derived key, unlocked by a passphrase. When the vault is locked the store will not write — it says so and stops, rather than quietly saving a person's hallucination log in plain text. The sample files shipped in the repo are public templates, never live health data. An earlier internal audit called the encryption claim false and named the exact line; that line is gone and the encryption is real. The audit stays in the repo with the correction on top of it.

V1 scaffolding and the service contract layer run with tests. The interface is being built. Encryption is implemented — Fernet with PBKDF2HMAC key derivation, gated on a passphrase — and the store refuses to save rather than write health data in the clear. The clinical escalation route is an honest NOT_YET_IMPLEMENTED stub, with a test that guards it as one.

Low-cost volatile-compound sensing as screening support: a microcontroller board and a gas sensor for roughly fifteen to twenty-five dollars, feeding a classifier that matches channel intensities against literature-grounded profiles and writes every match to an audit trail the client owns. Twenty-four live VOC profiles, with the testing paperwork behind them. Published figures — 77.81% injection accuracy, 96.19% detection across 23,686 cycles — are closed-loop simulation, never clinical accuracy. Biological data is never sold or harvested.

A seven-tier encryption stack, from a 1553 Vigenère cipher to NIST FIPS 203 post-quantum ML-KEM, hybridised with XChaCha20-Poly1305 and bridged by HKDF-SHA256 — secure as long as either half holds, which is the architecture NIST recommends for the transition. The FIPS 203 implementation is pure Python with nothing outside the standard library, written to be audited rather than to be fast. Given away under Apache 2.0. The name is the threat: traffic recorded today gets decrypted when the machines arrive.

Neurodivergent. Self-taught. Was nonverbal until age 6. Twenty years as an over-the-road truck driver. In 2010, a crushing injury put him in a coma for eight months — told he would never walk again. He walked. He then taught himself nutrition science, completed a Precision Nutrition master’s program, and spent a year researching the nutritional dimensions of cancer, dementia, and Alzheimer’s — the same diseases his AI systems now address.

He has taught over 3,000 students in underserved populations. He was recognized by the Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities with their Community Partner Award in 2018 for his cooking and nutrition classes with developmentally disabled individuals — the same population AlphaVox was built to serve. He continues that work today. The mission didn’t start when he filed the patent. It started decades before.

His grandfather Clarence Christman was auditor and then city manager of Washington Court House — Christman Park carries his name. In 1970, at forty-four, he died of a heart attack at a bulk plant fire on Dayton Avenue, assisting the fire department. That legacy lives in every line of this code.

Isn’t that what it’s all about?” The woman went home that night and wrote a letter about it. Nobody asked her to.

Kindred Healthcare named Misty its district Above & Beyond winner for February 2007. She was promoted. That same year the company’s Health Services Division named her its Above & Beyond Winner — the award still on the shelf.
